2017 Stanley Cup- Predators Making a Name for Hockey in Tennessee: Games 2-4

Game Two of the Stanley Cup 4-1 Pittsburgh Penguins

With a second night of “home-field-advantage” the Penguins took Game two of the Stanley Cup.

Both the Penguins and the Predators managed to score in the first period. Both teams also managed to hold either other off from scoring in the second. What was an extremely close game for the first two periods, gave an upsetting turn during the third. The Pittsburgh Penguins managed to achieve three points bringing the end score to a devastating 4-1 loss for the Predators.

Game Three of the Stanley Cup 5-1 Nashville Predators

Finally the Predators take their “home-field-advantage” to the brackets. Winning their first Stanley Cup 2017 Game in their hometown of Nashville, Tenn.

Game three brought on a tough night for the Predators. They needed this win to stay in the game, and a win is what they left with. In the first period the Penguins started off with 1-0 victory; however, that would be the last period they would win in Game three. The Predators went on the score three points in the second period, and two points in the third. The Predators brought home their first win of the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs!

Game Four of the Stanley Cup 4-1 Nashville Predators

Again, Nashville scores another spot in the winning bracket to secure a Game 4 win in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Resulting in a 2-2 tie for the Stanley Cup.

Just as Game two started off, so did Game four. Both teams ended the first period with a 1-1 score. However, the rest of Game four played out similar to Game three. The Predators kept the Penguins to a one score hold. The Predators scored two points in the second period, and one in the third. Continuing their winning streak on the road to the Stanley Cup!

Fans’ Prospective

From a Nashville Predators fans’ prospective, win or lose this is an awesome experience to be able to witness in person! At the beginning of Game four, the fans and the players could not help but cheer and rejoice in victory for making it this far!

Game 5 of the 2017 Stanley Cup series is June, 8 at 8 p.m. EST, 7 p.m. CDT in Pittsburgh, Pa.
